Invitation-only Executive Training Course on Public–Private Partnerships in the Health Sector

From December 5 to 9, 2016, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management will host an executive training course on Public-Private Partnerships in the Health Sector. The course development was sponsored by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group and supported by UK Aid. The course is based on global practice as well as evidence on benefits and costs of PPP approaches in the healthcare sector. It covers good practice in selecting projects, structuring incentives and contracts, and managing the PPP process through tendering, financing and contract management. The course draws on the diverse expertise of all participants and will be facilitated by professors from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with practitioners who come from both the private and the public sector with experiences in different countries.

The prime audience for the course is policymakers in emerging markets as well as officials from donor agencies and private companies active in the field. All participants should have significant responsibilities in the field of healthcare PPPs.

The course has been successfully taken place for the past three years and received excellent feedback from participants representing some 20 countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and South Asia as well as staff of the IFC and donor agencies.

The fee for the course is EUR 4,300 including full board and accommodation. There is an Early bird discount of 10% available in case of registration three months before the course starts. For every additional employee registered from the same company, there will also be a 10% reduction available which cannot be used in addition to the Early Bird reduction.
